Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Modernization Project

In this season of thanks and giving, we are so grateful to thousands of caring friends of the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation for helping us make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

We are delighted to announce that Newman’s Own Foundation has selected us to compete for a $500,000 challenge grant.  The grant will help us finish the modernization of the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Bridgeport Hospital. Thus far, our donors have given over $6.3 million of the $7 million dollar goal. 

We need your help to cross the finish line!! Our former facility was small, noisy, cramped and uncomfortable for parents to best take care of their babies. This project will provide the space and environment for the family-centered care that is so important to the healthy development of our tiniest patients.
