Palliative Care

palliativecare_4.jpg

Thanks to philanthropic support from individuals in the community, we are now offering new outpatient Palliative Care services to oncology patients at Park Avenue Medical Center in Trumbull. We are delighted to offer this vital service to our cancer patients.

The goal of Palliative Care is to improve quality of life by anticipating, preventing, and treating suffering for both the patient and the family.

We are pleased to welcome Michael S. Kopf, MD. He joins us from Memorial Sloan-Kettering where he was a Fellow in Palliative Medicine. His team will include a Chaplain, APRN, Practice Supervisor, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Proceeds from the September 12th Kaulbach Memorial Golf Classic will provide funding for the Palliative Care RN Care Coordinator on the Palliative Care Team. To join the Golf Classic click here .
