Testing Centers

Bridgeport Hospital has an outdoor COVID-19 Specimen Collection Station tent. Because COVID-19 testing is not appropriate for every patient with respiratory symptoms, you must have an order from your healthcare provider to receive a test. Video Care On Demand

See a clinician today using your smartphone or tablet. Yale New Haven Health’s Video Care OnDemand provides you with video access to clinicians for minor medical concerns. Available Monday – Friday from 7am – 7pm. Learn more.

COVID-19 Support Fund

The Bridgeport Hospital Foundation has established an emergency fund which will provide critical support to the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. It will enable our clinical staff to sustain their resilience and continue to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients and community. Please Donate Now.

Donation of Medical Supplies

While Bridgeport Hospital Yale New Haven Health does not normally accept donations of supplies and equipment, the outbreak of COVID-19 has restricted the quantities of protective equipment our caregivers need. We currently need disposable head covers, gowns, gloves, N95 respirators and more. All items should in original unopened packaging. Hand Sewn Masks

If you or an organization would like to donate hand sewn masks, we are asking that you use this pocket pattern. If you have already sewn masks that do not follow the pocket mask pattern, Yale New Haven Health will still accept those and redirect them to shelters being set up for our community’s homeless population.
Donations of sewn masks are being accepted at the Yale New Haven Health Regional Operations Center only Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm at:
