Destress and relax while learning this tiny joyful instrument!  Research has shown that playing music releases stress, decreases pain and anxiety, focuses the mind and improves mood.

Instruments provided. Beginners welcome – NO music experience necessary!

2/6- Hand drumming techniques: Learn the basics of drumming and explore world rhythms from West African, Afro Cuban, Middle Eastern, South American and Asian traditions

2/20 Drumming in Ritual:  Learn about the history and origins of drumming, altered states of consciousness in healing, Cultural practices, and gain some inspiration about how to create your own drumming ritual.

2/27 Sacred Sound: experience rhythms of spirit and explore soothing sound instruments.

3/5- Rhythm, Movement, and Life Rhythms – Drumming and gentle movement to connect your mind body and spirit. Explore using rhythmic cycles in everyday to benefit our overall wellness.
