President’s Message – Bringing Technology to Life Campaign
At Bridgeport Hospital, Valentine’s Day arrives during our celebration of American Heart Month. We are proud of our Joel E. Smilow Heart Institute at the Yale New Haven Health Heart and Vascular Center, one of the nation’s leading providers of heart and vascular services. In the event you or your loved ones require care, you will benefit from the expertise of our cardiologists, specially trained nurses and clinical teams.
New life saving technology for the community
As part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, I am excited to share news of our “Bringing Technology to Life” fundraising campaign. This initiative carries a $4.5 million philanthropic goal, of which $2 million has already been committed by generous donors like you. The project will support Bridgeport Hospital’s new $25 million investment in cardiac and neurovascular services. It will feature four completely modernized electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization labs as well as advanced new imaging technology for the treatment of strokes.
Existing interventional cardiology labs at Bridgeport Hospital will be completely modernized with the help of our donor community. |
When completed, the project will significantly expand access to critical, often life-saving services, and will dramatically improve clinical outcomes for our highest risk patients.
Can you help us now?
